LHH is working with a prominent law firm in Greensboro, NC, to recruit a skilled Business Litigation Paralegal. This role is ideal for a litigation-savvy professional eager to contribute to a high-performing legal team managing complex commercial disputes.
Position OverviewThe selected candidate will play a key role in supporting attorneys through all phases of litigation. This includes drafting legal documents, managing case files, coordinating discovery, and preparing for trial. The role requires a proactive, detail‑oriented individual who thrives in a fast‑paced legal environment.
Key Duties- Support attorneys from case intake through trial and appeal
- Draft and revise pleadings, discovery, subpoenas, and trial documents
- Maintain organized and up‑to‑date case files and electronic records
- Conduct factual and legal research to support case strategy
- Manage e‑discovery processes, including document review and production
- Coordinate depositions, hearings, and court deadlines
- Prepare trial exhibits, witness lists, and binders
- Communicate with clients, experts, and court personnel
- Minimum 3 years of experience in business or commercial litigation
- Strong understanding of federal and North Carolina civil procedure
- Proficient with litigation tools such as Relativity, Westlaw, and Lexis Nexis
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Able to work independently and collaboratively under pressure
- Paralegal certificate or relevant degree preferred
