In this exciting role, you will lead the strategy and execution of Truist Leadership Institute’s sales and marketing efforts. In addition, you will lead a team of sales and marketing professionals to maximize the reach, impact, and profitability of the Leadership Institute with external clients.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Effectively manage the generation of revenue through sales and marketing efforts.
- Develop, lead and execute the strategy related to the Truist Leadership Institute’s sales and marketing programs. This includes developing and maintaining the Institute’s web presence, designing and executing on traditional and social media strategies and developing ongoing direct sales and drip campaigns.
- Lead a team of sales professionals in the implementation of sales and marketing strategies, providing frequent coaching, direction and oversight. Perform duties associated with managing others, including hiring, training, providing feedback and monitoring performance for areas of improvement.
- Determine measurable outcomes of sales and marketing efforts. Develop and maintain an effective sales management process, including the evaluation of successes, opportunities and ongoing reporting. Create sales plans for assigned team and continually track progress toward their achievement.
- Personally manage high profile, high impact prospects and clients.
- Work with the Truist Enterprise Marketing, Sales and Experience department and/or third-parties to support the implementation of the Leadership Institute’s marketing strategy. Develop and manage sales and marketing budgets and manage assigned resources to maximize return on investment.
- Make regular joint business development calls with the Business Advisors and conduct regular progress meetings highlighting sales activities and results relative to goals.
- Work closely with peers to ensure alignment with Truist Leadership Institute strategic direction.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree with a focus on Sales, Marketing or Human Resources, or equivalent education and related training
- Fifteen years of experience selling products and services to executive level (c‑suite) prospects
- Fifteen years of successful sales management experience
- Exceptional interpersonal skills, with demonstrated proficiency in verbal and written communications
- Demonstrated leadership and management skills
- Strong organizational skills, sales skills and a high attention to detail
- Demonstrated proficiency in basic computer applications, such as Microsoft Office software products
- Ability to travel, frequently overnight
- Master’s degree preferred
All regular teammates (not temporary or contingent workers) working 20 hours or more per week are eligible for benefits, though eligibility for specific benefits may be determined by the division of Truist offering the position.
