Electrical Maintenance Technician

Electromechanical Technician Shift– 2nd Shift 5pm-5am Location - Clemmons, NC Relocation assistance available for the right candidate.

The Electromechanical Technician is responsible for maintaining, repairing, and adjusting equipment to ensure optimal operation per manufacturer specifications and production requirements.

• Service, repair, adjust, and test manufacturing machinery and equipment.
• Learn production equipment processes to support troubleshooting and operations.
• Perform and document preventative maintenance tasks.
• Troubleshoot electrical systems, including motors, VFDs, PLCs, and high/low voltage applications.
• Safely work inside electrical panels and understand all component functions.
• Read and interpret wiring schematics and machine manuals.
• Troubleshoot safety switches and circuits.
• Perform welding and use acetylene torch as needed.
• Operate and maintain pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
• Conduct regular maintenance on gearboxes and conveyors.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary work area.
• Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), food safety, and SQF requirements.

• High School Diploma or GED required;
  Associate degree preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of experience as a maintenance technician in a manufacturing environment.
• Skilled in installing and maintaining pumps, bearings, pulleys, belts, chains, gearboxes, and bushings.
• Proficient with automation, production, and computer systems.
• Strong attention to detail and clear communication skills.
• Ability to work independently or collaboratively in a team environment.

• Team-oriented and respectful in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment.
• Capable of performing basic math, reading, writing, and accurately recording data.
• Flexible to work weekends, holidays, and varying shifts.
• Able to frequently stand, walk, kneel, reach, climb, pull, and bend.
• Comfortable working in wet, humid, or variable conditions, including exposure to fumes, airborne particles, chemicals, and nut allergens.

• May work 12‑hour shifts on a fixed schedule rotation, including holidays.
• Must lift up to 50 lbs.; frequent walking, bending, squatting, and climbing ladders/stairs required.
