TAT Technologies is looking for a qualified Facility Maintenance Supervisor who is dedicated to both internal and external customers alike. Someone who is responsible for the effective and successful management of labor, productivity, quality control and safety measures as established.

Responsibilities
  • The Facility Maintenance Supervisor will be responsible for overall supervision and coordination of workers activities related to the setup, installation, maintenance and repair of equipment, tools and machinery to ensure to non-stop operation of the plant/location assigned.
  • Responsible for the development, implementation and day to day supervision of maintenance systems, processes and documentation associated with efficient and High Performing Manufacturing Organizations (Prevention and Predictive Maintenance, TPM, SOP’s, Safety, etc.).
  • Develops and/or maintains Key Performance Indicators for tracking and reporting the performance of the maintenance function (supplier performance, 3rd party contractor performance, equipment reliability, overall equipment effectiveness, etc.)
  • Direct workers in electrical, electronic, mechanical hydraulic and pneumatic maintenance and repair of machinery and equipment
  • Conduct scheduled inspections
  • Assist and direct workers in diagnosis of malfunctions in equipment and machinery
  • Observe mechanical devices and equipment to determine proper functioning or identify causes of trouble
  • Studies production schedules and estimates worker hour requirements for completion of job assignment
  • Interprets company policies and safety regulations to ensure compliance and safe work environment
  • Recommends and implements measures to improve production methods, equipment performance and quality of product
  • Plan and implement a schedule of routine and preventative maintenance procedures and assign and monitor personnel
  • May perform other duties as assigned
  • Manges all third parties performing facility maintenance, upgrades or renovations
Qualifications & Experience
  • Five (5+) years experience in a production/manufacturing environment working in a maintenance capacity
  • Three (3) years experience in a supervisory role of at least 3 people
  • Demonstrated leadership skills, including coaching a team to solve problems and continually improve
  • Experience with production operations and equipment (example: electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, PLC, robotics, safety protocols, etc.)
  • Maintenance technical expertise: technical degree or completion of trade school, or equivalent work experience
  • Strong with electrical & mechanical fundamentals. Coating or plating experience a plus.
  • Successful examples of process improvement and kaizen
  • Experience with equipment reliability and new equipment technology related to a start‑up, major or new model change, or product launch
  • Skills related to industrial processing (example: PLC programming, controls, IoT data collection / storage / analysis, mechanical precision, vision system, robot maintenance, etc.)
  • Experience with predictive maintenance through condition monitoring (for example: vibration tableaux, oil analysis, thermography, current analysis, etc.)
  • Knowledge or experience with Lean Manufacturing Principles (Shop Organization, Visualization, Problem Solving)
  • Very good written and verbal skills and the ability to complete basic reports
  • Ability to read blueprints, wiring diagrams, process sheets, and assembly schematic drawings
  • Self‑starter, able to effectively supervise work teams and problem solve to meet the production demands
