Maintenance Technician

This is a hands-on role responsible for overseeing facility maintenance operations, supervising new installations, and supporting preventative maintenance programs in a manufacturing setting. Schedule:

• 10 hour shift
• 8 hour shift
• Evening shift

Work Location:

In person

• Troubleshoot problems with facility equipment and infrastructure.
• Recommend repairs or replacements based on accurate diagnostics.
• Coordinate and supervise equipment installations and repairs, including electrical, gas, air, water, and sewer systems.
• Collaborate with outside contractors to ensure timely and quality project completion.
• Request
  competitive
  quotes from vendors for equipment, services, and repairs.
• Train staff on the operation of facility equipment as needed.
• Manage preventive and predictive maintenance programs to reduce downtime.
• Maintain an organized and efficient inventory of parts and supplies.
• Supervise production staff during maintenance-related activities when required.
• Follow and enforce all workplace safety procedures and standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

• High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
• Minimum of 2 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Prior food processing experience preferred.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced setting.
• Strong physical stamina; able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks.
• Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines with minimal supervision.
• Willingness to follow strict safety protocols while handling tools and equipment.
