Certified Nurse Midwife

Our affiliate, Unified Women’s Healthcare of the Carolinas, is looking for a Certified Nurse Midwife to join their prestigious Women's Health Care Center in Greensboro, NC. The Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM) is responsible for working closely with both gynecologic and obstetric patients, assisting in births, and providing health care to women post-pregnancy. The CNM will assist with prenatal care, labor, delivery, and postpartum care, and may also provide reproductive care, treatment, and education to female patients.

• Join an established and successful practice that has served the Greensboro metro area for over 30 years.
• 1 office location in Greensboro.
• Practice team consists of 6 OB/GYN physicians, 3 certified nurse midwives, and 1 nurse practitioner.
• Approximately 44 hours per week divided between the office and hospital.
• Clinic patient volume: 20-25 per day.
• Office hours are 1 – 2 days per week based on clinical volume and office needs.
• Delivering hospital:
  Moses Cone Memorial Hospital in Greensboro.

• AMCB Certified Nurse-Midwife.
• Graduate of a nurse-midwifery education program accredited by ACNM Accreditation Commission for Midwifery Education (ACME).
• Master's degree in Nursing (MS/MSN).
• Active and unrestricted state registered nurse (RN) license.
• CPR and NALS Certification.
• Current Unrestricted DEA License or ability to obtain.
• One year of full-time experience as a CNM is preferred.
• Labor & Delivery experience preferred.
