Infusion RN – Maryland Oncology Hematology – Greensboro, NC
OverviewA unique and rewarding experience for an Infusion Registered Nurse who is highly motivated to provide technical and clinical expertise in patient care. This position supports a neurology outpatient‑based infusion suite in Greensboro, NC.
Job Summary- Per diem/as‑needed position.
- Infusion suite operates Monday through Thursday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

- Provide professional nursing care to patients adhering to national and company standards and guidelines for specialty regulations.
- Demonstrate knowledge of physiological, psychological, developmental and age‑specific differences in the patient population including late adolescence, adulthood, middle age, and the elderly.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team for assessment and therapeutic management of patient/family needs.
- Support and adhere to the Intrafusion by McKesson Compliance Program, including the Code of Ethics, SOPs, and Business Standards.
- Plan, implement, coordinate, evaluate and promote the continuity of care consistent with established standards.
- Prepare and administer therapies under the direction and supervision of a physician.
- Maintain a neat and orderly infusion suite.
- Facilitate clinical operations and patient care.
- Participate in professional development activities and maintain current knowledge of infusion nursing.
Graduate from an accredited program for professional nursing education; BSN preferred.
Qualifications- RN state license and current registration with the State Board of Nursing in the practicing state.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (AHA or American Red Cross hands‑on course).
- Must maintain continuing education requirements.
- Minimum 2‑5 years nursing experience required, one year or more of infusion therapy experience preferred.
Environment:
Office/clinic. Possible exposure to communicable diseases, toxic substances, radiation, medical preparations, and other typical clinic conditions. Reasonable accommodations may be made for individuals with disabilities.
Full range of body motion including handling and lifting patients, manual and finger dexterity, eye‑hand coordination. May need to stand, walk, and lift/carry items up to 40 lbs. Requires corrected vision and hearing to normal range.
