- Provides high quality patient care and service in a cost‑effective, patient‑friendly, and timely manner, including appropriate record keeping.
- Exercises appropriate medical judgment, recognizing limitations and seeking consultation in a timely and professional manner.
- Establishes and maintains good rapport and professional relationships with patients, physicians, colleagues, and other employees.
- Sees an adequate volume of patients efficiently.
- Communicates well with patients, families, physicians, colleagues, and external parties in a courteous and effective manner.
- Demonstrates positive work habits, reports to work on time, completes tasks before leaving, avoids excessive unscheduled absences, and does not cancel scheduled visits.
- Shows initiative to help the practice grow.
- Maintains high productivity and efficiency, including appropriate scheduling, accurate coding, judicious use of supplies and ancillary services, and appropriate consultation patterns.
- Displays a positive attitude, teamwork, dependability, and responsiveness to work issues at the office and hospital, and to Eagle’s policies and procedures.
- Attends required meetings and participates in committees as requested.
- Participates in professional development activities and maintains professional affiliations and license.
- Shows respect, courtesy, and advocacy in all dealings with patients, coworkers, and visitors.
- Writes legibly and with correct grammar and sentence structure.
- Follows HIPAA guidelines for patient confidentiality and protects PHI.

Knowledge of professional theory and practice, organizational policies, medical equipment, safety hazards, and guidelines; skills in applying techniques, prioritizing, preparing records, establishing relationships, communicating, and interpreting procedures.
EducationGraduate of a nationally recognized Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner training program.
ExperienceThree years of experience preferred.
Certificate / LicenseCertification preferred; NC license required.
