Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) – 1st Shift

Friends Homes, Inc. is hiring a Certified Nursing Assistant for the 1st Shift. Eligible candidates will work 5 days a week with alternating weekends required.

Shift(s): 7:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. & 7:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m. (weekend differentials apply).

Starting Rate: $17.00 and up DOE (excluding shift differential for 2nd, 3rd, and all weekend shifts).

• Provide care to residents in the household to meet their daily needs, including medical, physical, and emotional support.
• Advocate for residents, ensuring they experience the best possible quality of life.
• Promote residents’ psychosocial well‑being through meaningful relationship building.
• Help plan and facilitate social activities.
• Maintain a clean, safe environment and care for residents’ personal laundry.

• North Carolina CNA certification.
• Desire to serve older adults and make a positive impact.
• Positive outlook and ability to provide compassionate care.
• Initiative and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and within a team.
• Flexibility to handle a fast‑paced environment.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.
• Proficiency in speaking, reading, and writing English for effective communication and completing required tasks, including training and documentation.
