Job Summary: The LPN has the responsibility for providing direct and indirect nursing care to assigned participants; manages clinical situations for which he or she is responsible. The LPN will function within the clinic under the supervision of RNs. He or she will accept assignments dependent upon training and the availability of RN supervision. Duties include but are not limited to: completing daily medication passes and reviewing MARs, collecting data for assessments and care planning, evaluating participant responses to nursing intervention, completing clinical tasks as assigned by RNs, teaching and counseling as assigned by RNs, collaborating with other disciplines and assisting primary care providers with tasks and treatments.

Other duties include communicating effectively with participants, families, staff, pharmacies and vendors, accomplishing tasks in an orderly fashion and working effectively in a team setting.
