American Traveler is hiring an Emergency Department RN with at least 2 years of ED experience and NC or compact RN licensure required for a night shift travel assignment.

• General Emergency Department treating combined adult/pediatric patients
• Patient ratios of 1:4-5 depending on staffing and volume
• Night shift schedule, 3x12 hours, 7p-730a
• Required to work 2 weekend shifts or 4 weekend days per 6 weeks
• Holiday coverage required as needed
• No on-call responsibilities
• May be floated to any campus within the health system
• EPIC EMR experience required

• Active RN license (NC or Compact) required in hand at time of consideration
• Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department RN experience required
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
• Preferred certifications: CPI, PALS, TNCC
• EPIC charting system experience required
• Previous Charge RN experience preferred
• Level II Trauma Center experience preferred
• Skills in IV therapy/phlebotomy, starting and maintaining IVs, and dysrhythmia interpretation
• Experience with triage, isolation precautions/PPE, and cardiac monitoring

• Provide emergency nursing care across general adult and pediatric populations, including trauma, cardiac, neurological, and orthopedic cases
• All RNs must pass a compliance EKG exam with up to two attempts allowed
• Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for travel rate
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• RTO must be submitted with the initial application; post-submission RTO requests are not accepted
