American Traveler is hiring an experienced ER RN for a night shift position requiring 2+ years of emergency department experience and Epic proficiency.

• General Emergency Department treating combined adult/pediatric, non-trauma patient population
• Patient ratio of 1:5
• Night shift schedule, 3x12 hours, 7:00 PM-7:30 AM
• Option to consider 36/48 rotating schedule if interested
• Weekend commitment of at least 8 shifts per contract, plus holidays as needed
• Floating required as needed to any Cone Health campus
• Uses Epic EMR system

• Active RN license (NC or Compact) in hand at time of consideration
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, and PALS
• Minimum 2 years of ER nursing experience required
• Epic charting experience required
• Community hospital experience preferred
• Skilled in blood product administration, central line care/management, phlebotomy, and starting IVs
• Experience with continuous IV sedation, IV vasopressors, and procedural sedation administration/monitoring
• Proficient in CPAP/BiPAP management, ABG interpretation, and care of ventilated patients
• Triage experience required
• Skilled in dysrhythmia interpretation/EKG testing
• Experience with isolation precautions/PPE

• Provide emergency care across a combined adult/pediatric, non-trauma ER setting
• Must pass a compliance EKG exam during onboarding (pass/fail, two attempts allowed)
• Candidates must reside at least 50 miles from the facility, as no local rates apply
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• RTO must be submitted at the time of application; no post-submission RTO requests accepted
