American Traveler is hiring an RN for a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) position requiring 2+ years of cardiac telemetry experience and a NC or compact RN license.

• PCU/Cardiac Telemetry unit within a hospital setting
• 1:5 patient ratio
• Day shift, 3x12 hours, 7:00 AM-7:30 PM
• Weekend and holiday rotation required
• No on-call requirements
• Floating required to any Cone Health campus as needed

• Active NC or compact RN license required in hand at time of consideration
• Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• Cardiac telemetry experience required
• Experience with management and interpretation of dysrhythmias
• Experience with peripheral line care/management and PICC line management
• Experience titrating drips
• EPIC EMR experience required

• Manage and interpret cardiac dysrhythmias and titrate medication drips
• Provide peripheral and PICC line care and management
• All RNs must pass a compliance EKG exam during onboarding (Pass/Fail, two attempts allowed)
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Candidates must reside at least 50 miles from the facility; no local candidates accepted within this radius
• RTO must be submitted with the initial application; no post-submission RTO requests accepted
