American Traveler is hiring an experienced Emergency Dept RN for a night shift assignment requiring EPIC experience and a NC or compact RN license.

• General Emergency Dept serving combined adult/pediatric patients
• Patient ratios of 1:4-5 depending on staffing and volume
• Night shift schedule with 3x12-hour shifts, 7p-730a
• Required to work 2 weekend shifts or 4 weekend days per 6 weeks
• Holiday coverage required as needed
• No on-call responsibilities
• May float to any campus within the health system as needed
• EPIC EMR experience required

• Active NC or compact RN license required in hand at time of consideration
• Minimum 2 years of ED experience required
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
• Preferred certifications: CPI, PALS, TNCC
• EPIC charting system experience required
• Must pass a compliance EKG exam with up to two attempts allowed
• Previous Charge RN and Level II Trauma experience preferred

• Provide emergency care across a wide range of cases including trauma, cardiac, neurological, and pediatric emergencies
• Perform IV therapy, phlebotomy, and central line care/management
• Skilled in cardiac monitoring, dysrhythmia interpretation, and management
• Experience with isolation precautions and PPE protocols
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
