This position may be eligible for a remote or hybrid work arrangement, consistent with university and state policies. N.C. A&T employees are generally required to reside in North Carolina, within a 2-hour commuting distance of their assigned duty station.

Preferred Experience /Education

Attainment of Associate’s degree or higher level of education or equivalent relevant experience.
Five years of retail work experience including three years in a supervisor role.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Supervising and directing the activities of student, temporary, and part-time employees.
Providing day-to-day leadership, coaching, and guidance to staff to support operational excellence and customer satisfaction.
Assisting with employee onboarding, training, scheduling, and performance feedback.
Serving as the operational lead during assigned shifts and assisting with decision-making in the absence of management.
Ensuring compliance with university policies, procedures, safety standards, and operational guidelines.
Delivering exceptional customer service and resolving customer concerns in a professional and timely manner.
Supporting sales growth through effective merchandising, product placement, and customer engagement.
