CAPITAL Subaru of Greensboro dealership is seeking a motivated, customer-focused Automotive Sales Consultant who appreciates informed customers and enjoys representing a brand known for safety, innovation, and adventure. Subaru clients tend to be research-driven and product-savvy, so this role is ideal for someone who enjoys educating, consulting, and building long-term relationships—not just making a sale.

As a Subaru Automotive Sales Consultant, you’ll serve as a trusted product expert, helping customers confidently select vehicles that match their lifestyle, values, and needs.

Automotive Sales Consultant Responsibilities
  • Greet and engage customers in a professional, welcoming manner
  • Consult with well-informed customers to understand their needs, preferences, and lifestyle
  • Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of Subaru vehicles, features, safety systems, and technology
  • Guide customers through the full sales process, from initial contact to vehicle delivery
  • Negotiate and close sales while prioritizing transparency and customer satisfaction
  • Stay current on Subaru product updates, incentives, and brand initiatives
  • Meet or exceed monthly and annual sales goals
  • Participate in ongoing training to deepen product knowledge and sales skills
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Automotive Sales Consultant Requirements
  • Previous sales experience preferred (automotive experience a plus)
  • Strong communication, listening, and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to engage confidently with knowledgeable, research-driven customers
  • Results-oriented mindset with a consultative sales approach
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment
  • Basic computer skills for managing customer information and sales transactions
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Ability to pass pre-employment background screening
