Inside Sales / Counter Sales

Summary:

The Macomb Group, a recognized leading distributor in the Midwest for Pipe, Valve, and Fittings. We are looking for a full-time inside sales representative with mechanical and industrial piping experience to prepare quotations and handle inside and counter sales responsibilities at our Greensboro, NC location. We are looking for a motivated, enthusiastic, self-driven individual to join our growing team.

• Responsible for answering phones
• Taking orders from customers over the phone
• Giving status of previous order
• Preparing quotations and bids
• Computer entry
• Purchasing of non-stock items and backorders
• Coordination of sales orders
• Provide professional customer service to customers

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• One or two years of related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of both is preferred
• Demonstrate trade experience and knowledge of mechanical and industrial piping applications
• Able to project professionalism in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication, organizational, and computer skills
• Motivated team player who takes initiative

Greensboro, NC – Monday - Friday, day shift
