As a Security Officer - Academic Grounds Patrol you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Education. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas within an educational environment, helping to deter security‑related incidents and create a welcoming atmosphere for students, staff, and visitors. You will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to support a secure environment, and provide outstanding customer service.

• Provide customer service to clients, students, and visitors by carrying out security‑related procedures and site‑specific policies, and responding to emergency situations when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, utilizing training and protocols specific to the educational environment.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the campus and surrounding perimeter to deter unwanted activity and identify potential concerns.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and public areas to support a secure environment for all individuals on the premises.
• Document observations, incidents, and activities thoroughly and accurately in accordance with Allied Universal and client requirements.
• Assist with access control and visitor management processes as directed by site policies.
• Communicate professionally with campus personnel, law enforcement, and emergency responders as needed.

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
