Security Project Specialist II
Brady Integrated Security is seeking a Senior Security Project Specialist to manage small to mid-size installations of access control, analog & IP cameras, intercom, and intrusion detection systems. The role includes coordinating with customer IT personnel to integrate systems into their network infrastructure and handling fiber optic termination as required.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities- Mentor and develop installers with less experience.
- Interface with customer personnel, demonstrate systems, and provide training.
- Use technical manuals and manufacturer support to troubleshoot issues.
- Drill holes, run conduit, and terminate cables according to NEC
70. - Inspect installation sites, study work orders, building plans, and manuals to determine material requirements.
- Use test equipment such as multimeters, cable testers, and toners.
- Turnkey installation of small to mid-size systems for access control, CCTV, intercom, intrusion, and fire alarm following architectural drawings.
- Read and understand Division 28 construction documents and attend job site meetings.
- Provide daily and weekly reports to management.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws and best practices.

- High school diploma or GED.
- 3+ years of maintenance or installation experience in security systems or a related field.
- Knowledge of networking LAN, WAN, and mesh devices.
- Familiarity with IPv4 and IPv6 addresses and MAC IDs.
- Experience configuring network devices and both unmanaged and managed PoE switches.
- Familiarity with software such as CCTV (Exacq, Milestone, Video Insight, Avigilon), Access Control (Open Options, Software House, Amag, S2, Kantech, Brivo), and Fire Alarm (Firelite, Vigilant, EST, Simplex, Autocall).
- Proficiency with computers and Microsoft Office / Apple iOS.
- Valid driver’s license.
- North Carolina Alarm Registrant within 30 days of hire.
- OSHA 10 or 30.
- 1+ manufacturer certifications in access control and CCTV systems.
- Background check and drug screening required.
- Prove U.S. employment eligibility.
- Occasional sitting; frequent stooping, crouching, kneeling, balancing, and climbing; constant standing, walking, reaching, and gripping.
- Medium Heavy Physical Demand Classification: lift up to 50 lbs occasionally, up to 25 lbs routinely.
- Ability to use ladders and handle equipment.
- Must be able to talk and hear.
- Vision abilities: close, distance, color, peripheral, depth perception, focus adjustment.
Work hours Monday through Friday, periodic on-call basis, overtime and weekends as required.
