Plumbing Maintenance Technician

Description Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Journeyman Plumbers for projects located in Greensboro, NC. This is a first shift opportunity and the pay rate is up to $36/hour based on experience and skill level. Job Scope:
* Perform installation, maintenance, alterations, and repairs of commercial water, gas, drain, sewer, and storm line systems.
* Install, repair, and replace plumbing fixtures across campus buildings.
* Conduct service work including unclogging drains, replacing pipes, and performing general plumbing maintenance.
* Comply with state and local plumbing codes to ensure safety and reliability.
* Prepare and plan work orders; conduct field inspections and determine repair vs. replacement needs.
* Operate and maintain campus sewer and underground storm line systems.
* Review and approve shop drawings for accuracy; inspect contractor work for compliance.
* Conduct testing (destructive and non-destructive) to diagnose plumbing issues.
* Participate in planning and review of facility modifications, upgrades, and new construction projects.
* Maintain records and establish a database for plumbing systems and equipment for future use.
* Collaborate with Facilities supervisors to schedule work with minimal disruption to building occupants. Requirements: *

Valid NC state Plumber's License.
* High school diploma or equivalent.
* Demonstrated plumbing skills and competency to perform the required work.
* Experience in related trades may substitute for formal education on a year-for-year basis.
* Strong knowledge of state and local plumbing codes.
