Custom Unit Fabricators

We are looking for
Custom Unit Fabricators to complete jobs according to the plans and specifications and assist Foreman and direct skilled tradesman and apprentices as needed.

Typical Duties

• Plan, layout and install low, medium and high pressure ductwork, air distribution accessories and associated equipment for commercial, industrial and institutional heating and air conditioning work.
• Locate, measure and outline installation areas from construction drawings.
• Drill holes, attach brackets, hangers and other holding devices.
• Install ductwork, air distribution accessories and related equipment such as air handling units, fans, coil banks, levers, dampers, plenium casings, VAV boxes, etc.
• Fabricate complex fittings and draw sketches of complex fittings and ductwork for fabrication.
• Assist with moving, loading, unloading and distribution of material and parts.
• Set equipment such as coils, fans and humidifiers.
• Operate equipment such as shears, press brakes etc.

• Must have minimum of 2 years of shop sheet metal experience.
• Must have experience in caulking.
• Ability to follow detailed instructions.
