The Electrical Field Service Technician is responsible for the installation, commissioning, service, and support of advanced packaging equipment at customer sites. This role requires strong electrical and automation expertise, the ability to work independently, and a customer-focused mindset. Travel is required, including domestic and international assignments.

• Installation and commissioning of new packaging machines
• Provide operator and maintenance training to customers
• Perform modifications to PLC and HMI programs
• Deliver first-level remote technical support to customers
• Execute electrical upgrades and retrofits on existing machines
• Troubleshoot electrical, control, and automation issues in the field

• Proficiency in PLC programming, preferably Allen-Bradley systems
• Experience with frequency drives and servo drives
• Skilled in using a multimeter for electrical troubleshooting
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and mechanical drawings
• Proficient with electrical hand tools (wire strippers, cutters, crimpers)
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently
• Excellent customer interaction skills with a service-oriented mindset
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel extensively
• Must be eligible for a passport, international travel, and rental car use
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
• Spanish language skills are a plus

• Associate degree or technical certificate in Industrial Automation, Industrial Electronics, or a related field
• Minimum of 2 years of experience with packaging equipment installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair
• Minimum of 2 years of hands-on electrical experience in industrial or packaging environments
• Experience using mechanical hand tools (wrenches, punches, drills, tapping tools)
