The Sr. .Net Application Developer is responsible for the development and maintenance of internal and external-facing products written in Microsoft’s .NET Core and .NET Framework. The developer will work mainly in Web Applications with support to Legacy Windows (WPF / Win Forms) Applications. The developer will maintain and implement new functionality in applications written in .NET that use SQL Server and Postgres including stored procedures, and SQL Reporting Services.

Experience with .NET Core, SQL Server, WCF, and Web API is required. The developer will work on a team of developers with similar complementary skills and must meet deadlines while delivering quality code. This role requires onsite work at our Greensboro, NC location.

• Design, development & support of existing and new functionalities.
• Development of new screens and objects (both WPF and Web) in ASP.NET/C#,  using .NET / .NET Core and MVC

• Strong knowledge of DOM objects handling, JQuery, JavaScript, CSS.
• Good experience in query optimization and performance tuning.
• Development of REST-based services including WCF and OData.
• Unit, integration, and systems testing of components.
• Develop and maintain SQL queries, stored procedures, views and functions.
• Deploy solutions to various environments in Kubernetes clusters.
• Understand and apply SOLID principles.
• Communicate with the team to identify roadblocks.
• Mentor, conduct code reviews, and assign tasks to Junior and Mid-Level Coders.
• Ensure the security of systems administered, protect client data, and enforce corporate security policies.

• Four-year college degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related discipline.
• 8+ years of .Net (C#, , etc.).
• 4+ years of Entity Framework.
• 4+ years of WCF / Web API / WPF.
• 4+ years of MVC.
• 1+ year of Docker containers (Linux/Windows) and Kubernetes.
• 1+ year of Postgres.
• Strong SQL skills.
• Experience with ADO Entities.
• Deep Win Forms knowledge.
• TFS or Gitea.
• Strong object-oriented development fundamentals and design patterns.
• Ability to juggle multiple projects and adapt to changing business drivers.
• Experience in Windows Server environments and Agile development methodologies.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and planning skills.
• Commitment to customer service and product development.
• Self-motivated and enthusiastic with a commitment to productivity and learning new trends.
