* Job Description:

** Apex Systems is looking to hire an
** ONSITE Integration Engineer
** for our client based out of
** Greensboro, NC**.This assignment is anticipated to be a
** 6-month contract
** with strong potential for extension; however, Apex Systems cannot guarantee the length of this assignment.

This position requires
** full-time onsite presence, 5 days per week. Remote and hybrid arrangements are not available.
**** Responsibilities:
*** Design, develop, and support middleware solutions used to integrate applications and systems.
* Develop APIs, integration services, gateways, routing solutions, and data-mapping components.
* Build and maintain both synchronous and asynchronous integrations based on application and business requirements.
* Develop reliable API and integration solutions that align with established technical and security standards.
* Implement security controls including authentication/token validation, data validation, monitoring, and end-to-end logging.
* Troubleshoot integration issues and collaborate with technical teams to identify and implement solutions.
* Create and maintain technical documentation covering integrations, interfaces, dependencies, and operational requirements.
* Communicate technical designs and integration concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

* Experience:

**
* ** 3+ years of experience
** in software engineering, integration engineering, data engineering, or a related technical role.
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field, or equivalent education/experience.
* Strong understanding of
** synchronous and asynchronous integration patterns**.
* Experience developing and supporting APIs and middleware solutions.
* Experience with
** IBM API Connect (APIC)
** strongly preferred.
* Development experience with
** Java, Python, and/or JavaScript**.
* Experience with API technologies and standards such as
** REST, OpenAPI, GraphQL, and RPC**.
* Knowledge of API security and authentication, including
** OAuth 2.0 and OpenID Connect**.
* Experience with
** Microsoft Azure
** and CI/CD tools such as
** Azure Dev Ops or Git Hub Actions**.
* Strong documentation, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
* Experience with
** Terraform, Spring Boot, Boomi, IBM App Connect Enterprise (ACE), and/or Enterprise Integration Patterns
** is a plus.
