• Hourly Employment
  :
  Roster positions are paid hourly and do not include benefits such as medical, dental, or vision insurance, life insurance, paid leave, or paid holidays.
• Limited Hours
  :
  Roster employees may work up to, but no more than, 1,000 hours in a 12 month period.
• Pension System
  :
  Roster positions are not eligible for membership in the city’s pension system.

We are seeking a talented and enthusiastic individual to serve as a Shuttle Driver for our Country Park Shuttle. As a Shuttle Driver for Greensboro Parks and Recreation at Country Park, you will be required to assist with driving duties which include picking up and dropping off park patrons from several designated stops around the Country Park Loop Road, a private roadway inside Country Park.

The Shuttle Driver is also responsible for recordkeeping, tracking attendance, providing customer service, and other administrative duties as assigned. The position requires the driver to help maintain the shuttle by inspecting, refueling, and cleaning the shuttle each shift. All applicants must have a good driving record and will be subject to a background check and drug screening as part of the hiring process.

The selected applicant must possess great communication skills with staff and the general public to ensure the highest level of customer service. Physical requirements of the job include but are not limited to: walking, standing, and sitting for extended times, lifting up to 30lbs, and operating assigned equipment as needed.

This job is Non-Exempt under FLSA policy.

• High School Diploma/GED
• Customer Service experience
• Class C CDL with Passenger Endorsement

• Current CPR/First Aid Certification
