Pay Range: $37.00 /hr. – $40.00 /hr.

As the Electrician, you’ll join a collaborative team ensuring that our clients can deliver their services – uninterrupted. Based in Greensburg, IN, you’ll support the Facility Maintenance Team in the preventative, corrective, and general maintenance of plant systems for the client.

• Ability to read and understand system blueprints, specifications, and performance data to determine configuration and purpose of system components such as compressors, motors, pumps, fans, switches, controls, ducts, or pipes.
• Installs power supply wiring and conduit for newly installed machines and building equipment. Connects power supply wires to machines and building equipment, connects cables and wires between machines and equipment.
• Diagnoses malfunctioning apparatus such as transformers, motors, motor starters, MCC panels, MCC circuits, variable frequency drives and lighting fixtures and replaces damaged or broken wires, cables, and fuses.
• Dismantles malfunctioning systems and tests components.
• Replaces faulty electrical components of machine such as relays, switches, sensors, motors, and positions sensing devices.
• Plans layout of wiring and installs wiring, conduit, and electrical apparatus in buildings.
• Responsible for accurate and timely paperwork related to essential duties and responsibilities.
• Performs preventative maintenance tasking on electrical and mechanical equipment.

• Willingness to work & learn all disciplines. This is a facilities building maintenance role you will be required to perform other duties.
• Perform equipment checks & PMs.
• Strong general mechanical, electrical, plumbing aptitude.
• Start/Stop, Troubleshoot, repair, maintain FAC equipment.
• Self-starter, prioritize work orders based on deadlines and equipment issues.
• Strong Electrical Power Distribution Knowledge and experience.
• Experience with the following tools & PPE.
• Successfully completed Electrical Apprenticeship Program or graduated from a certified technical school and achieved Journeyman status.
• 5 years’ related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 5 to 7 years’ related experience in a manufacturing facility.
• Trained on NFPA 70E, Aerial Lift / Boom lift Certified.
• Training in motor and motor controls, variable frequency drives, and PLC / BMS controls. Ability to read complex wiring diagrams, identify electrical components, and extensive knowledge in troubleshooting control circuits. Must be well versed in the use of voltmeters, amp meters, ohm meters, meggers and amp-probes.
• Use guidelines from the National Electrical Code, local codes, safety regulations and Company standard practices. Wears PPE and ARC Flash equipment while performing live troubleshooting evolutions.
