American Traveler is hiring a Telemetry RN with at least 2 years of experience and active PA or Compact RN license for a 13-week assignment.

• Telemetry unit within a hospital setting
• Rotating day and night shifts on a 3x12 schedule
• Floating required within the hospital and may extend to sister facilities within a 10-mile radius
• Every other holiday coverage required
• Cerner charting system experience preferred

• Active PA or Compact RN license required
• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required (AHA certifications only)
• Minimum 2 years of recent Telemetry nursing experience required
• Prior travel nursing experience required
• Cardiac monitoring and dysrhythmia management experience required
• Experience with IV therapy, central/PICC line care, and blood product administration required
• Community hospital experience preferred
• SSN, DOB, driver's license, and RTO required for consideration
• Two supervisor references preferred

• Provide direct care to cardiac, renal, neurological, and post-surgical patients requiring telemetry monitoring
• Perform respiratory support including BiPAP/CPAP, oxygen administration, and tracheostomy care
• Manage cardiac and vasoactive drips without titration
• Respond to rapid response and code team activations
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility; local candidates not accepted
• Travel pairs may be considered based on facility need, though same schedule cannot be guaranteed
• Former permanent employees must have been separated for at least 2 years before applying through an agency
• Travelers are limited to a cumulative one-year assignment within the health system, followed by a required two-year break before returning
• Fingerprinting, drug screening, and required labs must be completed within 24-48 hours of signing
