Registered Nurse – Labor and Delivery

Greensburg, PA | Acute Care

Contract | Rotating Shifts (Days and Nights) | 3x12-Hour Shifts | Day Shift: 7:00–19:30 | Night Shift: 19:00–7:30

• Perform vaginal exams and assist with vaginal deliveries; circulate in cesarean section deliveries
• Start IVs and draw blood as required throughout patient care
• Assist with stabilization of newborns post-delivery utilizing NRP skills
• Recognize and respond to obstetric complications including postpartum hemorrhage and hypertensive disorders of pregnancy
• Float within the hospital and to sister facilities within a 10-mile radius as needed
• Work every other holiday as required

• Active Pennsylvania RN license or valid Compact license at time of submission
• Minimum 1 year of Labor and Delivery RN experience
• AWHONN Intermediate certification — must be current at submission
• BLS certification (AHA only) — must be current at submission
• FHM certification — must be current at submission
• NRP certification — must be current at submission
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility based on driver's license address — local candidates are not eligible

• Experience with Cerner electronic health records system
• Two supervisor references preferred at time of submission

• Opportunity to work in a dynamic Labor and Delivery unit with a rotating schedule offering both day and night shift experience
• Travel pairs may be considered based on facility need
