- Design, develop, and implement industrial control systems and processes
- Lead design, and software reviews of projects to ensure project deliverables around automation systems are achieved
- Program and troubleshoot industrial control systems
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to identify automation opportunities and develop solutions
- Liaise with customers, suppliers, contractors, and relevant authorities
- Project management within cost and time constrained environments
- Conduct root cause analysis to identify and resolve automation issues
- Create and interpret schematics for automation equipment
- Provide technical support, troubleshooting help, and guidance to customers and contractors
- Any other duties deemed necessary or appropriate
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field / or 5 years related experience
- Strong knowledge of automation systems and technologies
- Strong knowledge of Allen Bradley Control Logix, Rockwell, and Wonderware Intouch
- Experience with distributed control systems in a manufacturing environment
- Mechanical knowledge and understanding of automated processes
- Proficiency in CAD software for designing electrical schematics and flow sheets
- Strong problem‑solving skills, including root cause analysis techniques
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to apply mathematical concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical solutions
- Strong planning and organizational skills
- Ability to function independently in a multi‑task environment, as well as part of a team
- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form
