Responsible for compiling itemized hospital bills, verifying patient insurance coverage, and computing patient insurance benefits.
Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree preferred.
Minimum of two years’ experience in hospital and physician billing preferred.
Current knowledge of regulatory and industry issues affecting medical billing, including but not limited to Medicare and Medicaid requirements regarding the filing of claims, is preferred.
