Pay Range: $23.60-$33.55
Role and Responsibilities- Comply with all safety and housekeeping rules.
- Perform troubleshooting, repairs, and preventive maintenance to ensure efficient operation of industrial equipment. This includes motors, pneumatic tools, hydraulic systems, conveyor systems, and production machines.
- Follow diagrams, sketches, operation manuals, manufacturer instructions, and engineering specifications to diagnose and resolve malfunctions.
- Become proficient with the plant work order system.
- Utilize hand and power tools, cranes/hoists, rigging equipment, and fall restraint systems effectively.
- Participate in or lead fabrication and fitting of metal components according to specifications and drawings.
- Welding experience in SMAW, GMAW, and TIG applications in multi-pass positions (including overhead) is preferred.
- Collaborate and communicate effectively as part of a team to achieve results.
- Actively engage in plant safety and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Adapt to scheduling requirements, including shift work, overtime, and weekend assignments as needed.
- Ability to perform assigned repair and servicing tasks.
- Willingness to work the assigned schedule.
- Demonstrated understanding of all plant and departmental safety rules, standards, and programs.
- Ability to meet essential physical requirements, including negotiating steps and ladders.
- Maintain regular and predictable attendance.
- Ability to understand verbal and written instructions from plant supervision and perform tasks efficiently.
- Maintain a personal set of tools as specified in the operator rate program.
Rate of pay may be adjusted based on the qualifications and experience of the candidate.
