Our Position
This position will have a designated sales territory where you will be responsible for devising and executing a sales plan to generate and close new leads, upsell existing customers on additional services offered, and build relationships with our customers. Outside Sales Professionals will conduct home and property inspections.

- Develop and Execute Sales Plans
:
Create and implement personal sales strategies to retain existing commercial accounts and acquire new business, meeting monthly, quarterly, and yearly targets. - Prospecting and Qualifying Leads
:
Identify and qualify potential new customers for Rocket Pest, scheduling appointments to understand their needs and business goals. - Customer Relationship Management
:
Maintain sales schedules for all customers in assigned territories, ensuring timely communication and follow-ups. - Proposal Development
:
Conduct home inspections and commercial site evaluations, preparing specific proposals tailored to individual homeowner or business needs. Present customized pest control programs to meet customer needs, ensuring all necessary signatures and initials are obtained. - Build Customer Value
:
Explain each service offered and create full-service solutions to build value for customers. - CRM Utilization
:
Manage daily sales activities using Pest Pac and other CRM systems. - New Account Development
:
Actively seek and develop new accounts, representing the company to potential customers. Prospect for new business, gather information about customer needs, present customized solutions, and close sales. - Product Knowledge
:
Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of products and services to provide accurate information to customers. - Sales Training and Development
:
Attend sales training sessions and continuously build product knowledge. - Marketing Collaboration
:
Partner with the Marketing team to implement programs that solicit new clients through cold calls, campaigns, organizations, and referrals. - Appointment Coordination
:
Schedule pest control service appointments and coordinate with the service department. - Client Account Management
:
Execute client account analysis, prepare and communicate proposals/quotes, and manage special client projects. - Relationship Building
:
Build and maintain strong relationships with Branch and Service Managers, service professionals, administrative staff, and the new construction and builder program. Establish a presence within your territory by actively participating in the community and industry to generate new leads and contacts. - Lead Management
:
Make immediate contact with all leads received via phone, voicemail, email, and office mail. Follow up on all leads, compose and submit professional proposals, and network to stay abreast of market activities. - Customer Respect
:
Be respectful of customers’ premises and furnishings, leaving them in the same or better condition than when you arrived; cover or remove shoes as needed. - Contract Knowledge
:
Know all contract terms and conditions, as well as those of competitors. - Sales Meetings and Training
:
Attend all sales meetings and technical training classes. - Vehicle and Equipment Maintenance
:
Maintain assigned sales vehicle, equipment, and tools in clean and good working condition. Adhere to all driving laws and company policies when operating company vehicles. - Collections Efforts
:
Participate in collections efforts. - Additional Duties
:
Perform other projects and duties as assigned.
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Prior sales experience is preferred but not required.
- Required to use ladder.
- Must have the ability to walk, climb, stoop, reach, crawl, crouch, kneel, push, pull and lift a minimum of 20lbs or more.
- Must have excellent written and verbal communication, with particular emphasis during telephone calls, follow-ups, and in-person correspondence.
- Ability to calculate basic math.
- Must have valid driver license and be 21 years of age.
- Must be able to pass a seven-year criminal background check.
- Must be able to pass company drug screen and/or substance abuse testing.
- Must be able to pass three-year motor vehicle report and meet minimum eligibility requirements criteria of insurance carrier.
