Job Description

ECU Department of Engineering is currently seeking a Student Communications & Content Assistant.

Responsibilities
  • Creating, editing, and posting content for department social media and digital communications
  • Assisting with photography, short‑form video, and graphic content
  • Drafting posts, captions, and brief articles to highlight people, projects, and events
  • Supporting special initiatives, campaigns, and event promotion
Commitment

Expected commitment is 10–15 hours per week.

Compensation
  • Starting pay: $12 per hour
  • Up to $15 per hour for highly qualified candidates
Preferred

Open to students in ANY MAJOR. Must have:

  • Strong written communication skills
  • Interest in communications, marketing, digital media, or storytelling
  • Preferred candidates will have demonstrated experience in communications, marketing, social media, graphic design, photography, or related areas
