Position Title:
Student Employment - Physics Undergraduate Learning Assistants (Spring 2026)
Academic Term/Year: FALL 2025/SPRING 2026

ECU Department of Physics
Number of Vacancies: 6
- Attend classes within the assigned discipline to interact with students and lead discussions about class material.
- Attend a prep session with the faculty member teaching the class.
- New LAs must attend an orientation/training session early in the semester.
- Bring all prepared materials to class; may work with students.
- Meet with the designated instructor near the end of the semester to discuss strengths/weaknesses and give constructive feedback.
- GPA of 2.5 or higher.
- Completed 30 semesters of credit.
- Enrolled in at least 6 semesters for Spring 2026.
Applicants must have completed the course for which they will serve as an LA.
