The College of Arts and Sciences is comprised of academic departments including Anthropology, Biology, Chemistry, Criminal Justice, English, Economics, Foreign Languages and Literatures, Geography, Planning and Environment, Geological Sciences, History, Mathematics, Philosophy and Religious Studies, Physics, Political Science, Psychology, and Sociology, as well as the University Studies program.
Job DutiesThe Thomas Harriot College of Arts and Sciences is seeking applications for part-time, fixed-term faculty (.74 FTE or less) for one or more semesters during the upcoming academic year at the titles of Teaching Instructor, Senior Teaching Instructor, Master Teaching Instructor, Teaching Assistant Professor, Teaching Associate Professor, Teaching Professor, Research Instructor, Research Assistant Professor, Research Associate Professor, Research Professor.
Minimum Education / ExperienceAcceptable qualifications include a master’s degree in the teaching discipline for undergraduate courses; a terminal degree in the teaching discipline for graduate courses; or alternate professional competencies and achievements such as related graduate education, related professional certifications, related work experience, honors and awards. All education must be documented from an appropriately accredited institution or certified as equivalent to required accredited education.
