Job Description
ECU Department of Student-Athlete Academic Services is currently seeking several academic tutors. Tutors provide academic support to ECU student-athletes, as assigned by the tutor coordinator, based on specific courses they list on their application. The main role of the tutor is to provide clarification and supplementation to enhance a student's understanding. The Student-Athlete Academic Services' Tutor program staff is selected from among the top students at ECU, who undergo a structured training program to ensure that the highest quality of services are provided, resulting in many successful experiences for all involved.
Preferred (Majors, Experience, GPA, etc.)For hiring consideration, applicants must:
- Have a 3.2 or above cumulative ECU GPA
- Have a minimum of 30 completed college credits (including AP & dual enrollment credits populated on ECU transcript)
- Be able to serve as an academic and personal role model
- All applicants must be enrolled ECU students.
