Certified Medical Assistant - Pulmonology Wilson
Coordinates clinic operations and assists providers by performing vital signs, patient questionnaire intake, data entry and medical records management. Assists with and provides patient care services and customer services as necessary. Maintains all patient care related documentation in hard copy and/or electronic medical records. Must demonstrate skill in clinical duties such as vitals, health history and other clinical duties as directed by clinicians.
Possesses time management skills and the ability to manage and perform multiple tasks and assist patients and providers as necessary.
- American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
- High School, equivalent or higher is required
- One Of The Following Certifications Is
Required:- Certified Medical Assistant through the American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA)
- Registered Medical Assistant through the American Medical Technologists (AMT)
- Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) through the National Healthcare Career Association (NHA) + either 2 years of experience or graduation from an in-person formal training program
- Preferred one or more years experience in a clinical or medical office setting.
Full time with benefits - 40 hours per week.
Day shift:
Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm.
Must be certified via AAMA, AMT or NHA.
