PositionSummary
Pharmacists at ECU Health Medical Center are committed to the safe and effective use of medications through maximizing drug distribution and optimizing drug therapy outcomes; educating patients, providers, and ourselves on best practices; and fully integrating pharmacists into the continuum of care. Pharmacists report directly to a designated Pharmacy Supervisor based on area of practice.
Minimum Requirements- B.S. or Pharm
D in pharmacy is required - 2 years of relevant pharmacy experience (post‑graduate) or completion of a PGY‑2 pharmacy practice residency
- Must be licensed as a pharmacist by the NC Board of Pharmacy by start date
- Maintains active NC pharmacy license and provides proof of renewal prior to December 31 annually
- American Heart Association BLS is required within 30 days of hire
- PGY1; PGY2 Critical Care;
Medical ICU experience preferred
Shift Explanation:
Primarily day shift with every 4th weekend and occasional 2nd shift coverage rotating amongst other critical care pharmacists.
