Assistant Nurse Manager - Cardiac Catheterization Lab

Position Summary

Under direction of the Nurse Manager, assists in coordinating, evaluating, and improving nursing care. Supports the Nurse Manager in promoting safe, cost‑effective, quality patient care.

• Assigns patient care to staff.
• Acts as liaison between patient, family, and physicians.
• Develops leadership/managerial role.
• Participates in Service Excellence Program.

• BSN required (or higher).
• NCRN licensure required.
• One year of additional graduate education may be substituted for one year of experience (maximum two years).
• Two to three years of clinical nursing experience, including one year in the required subspecialty.
• Preferred: previous leadership experience; proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Groupwise.

• Monday – Friday: either 4 ten‑hour shifts or 5 eight‑hour shifts.
• After‑hours leader call required for the unit.
• Unit covers nursing for catheterization lab and ECHO.
• Shift: Day.
