ECU Health Physicians and ECU Health Medical Center, located in Greenville, North Carolina, are expanding and seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join their transplant surgery program. Applicants with internal medicine, transplant surgery, or nephrology experience are preferred. New graduates are welcome to apply.
The transplant surgery program at ECU Health Medical Center provides state‑of‑the‑art care to patients with end‑stage organ disease across eastern North Carolina. The 29‑county service area serves 1.4 million patients and has the fifth highest incidence of renal failure in the country.

- Hospital privileges at ECU Health Medical Center, a 974‑bed Level 1 trauma center
- Established team of 4 transplant surgeons, 1 nurse practitioner, 4 transplant nephrologists, and 3 vascular access providers
- Clinical responsibilities include inpatient and outpatient care of renal and pancreas transplant patients: rounding, patient education, discharge planning, evaluation of pre‑transplant patients, and coordination of patient and family care needs
- Monday‑Friday 7am‑4pm schedule with occasional weekends
- No call
