Position Overview
NP/PA Cardiac Surgery Intermediate Opportunity in Greenville, NC. ECU Health Physicians and the East Carolina Heart Institute at ECU Health Medical Center are seeking a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join their expanding cardiac surgery program. The successful candidate will provide inpatient and outpatient clinical care with a primary focus on cardiac intermediate unit patients.

East Carolina Heart Institute at ECU Health Medical Center, 115 Heart Dr, Greenville, NC 27858.
- Provide inpatient and outpatient clinical care for cardiac surgery patients.
- Primary clinical focus on cardiac intermediate unit (CVIU) patients.
- Round and manage CVIU patients, perform procedures, prep patients for operating room, and follow cardiac surgery consulted ICU and intermediate patients.
- Work 8 (10‑hour) shifts every two weeks; no night shifts.
- Physician Assistant or certified Nurse Practitioner (ANP, FNP, ACNP, or AGNP).
- New graduates welcome.
- Strong clinical judgment and ability to work collaboratively with a team of 5 cardiac surgeons and 6 advanced practice providers.
