ECU Health Physicians and The East Carolina Heart Institute at ECU Health Medical Center, located in Greenville, North Carolina, are seeking a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join their expanding cardiac surgery program. The successful candidate will provide inpatient and outpatient clinical care. Inpatient care will have a primary clinical focus on cardiac intermediate unit patients. Nurse Practitioners must be certified as an ANP, FNP, ACNP or AGNP.

* Clinical responsibilities include rounding and management of CVIU patients, perform procedures, prep patients for OR, and follow cardiac surgery consulted ICU and intermediate patients
* Schedule will include 8 (10-hour shifts) every 2 weeks
* No nights
* Opportunity to work with a nationally recognized cardiac surgery program earning three 3-star ratings from STS for CABG and valve procedures and pioneer in minimally invasive and robotic surgery
* System-wide EHR is EPIC
