Medical Center in Greenville, North Carolina is seeking a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant with extensive NICU experience to provide care to preterm and term newborn infants in the NICU.

The Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, a level IV center, consists of 52 NICU Beds and a 20 bed step down unit. Vidant Children’s Hospital is the only tertiary facility in eastern North Carolina designed especially for pediatric patients and includes ECMO and pediatric surgery programs.

Greenville, North Carolina is recognized as the thriving cultural, educational, economic, and medical hub of eastern North Carolina, with a metropolitan population of nearly 100,000. Greenville is home to East Carolina University, the Brody School of Medicine, and Pitt Community College.

Requirements:

Neonatal Nurse Practitioner or Experienced Physician Assistant with extensive NICU experience or completion/anticipated completion of post-graduate NICU residency/fellowship.

NC RN licensure & NC Nurse Practitioner or NC licensure as a Physician Assistant.

National Board Certification as a Neonatal NP or as PA required, including maintenance.
