Optimum is a leader in connectivity solutions and is looking for an experienced Senior Direct Sales Representative to promote our products and services. The role focuses on driving sales, mentoring new team members, and fostering a high‑performance culture.
Job Summary The Senior Direct Sales Representative is responsible for promoting and selling Optimum products and services. The Senior Direct Sales Representative will focus on achieving individual targets, allocating time to field training, coaching, and support to assigned Optimum Sales Professionals and to assist in their ramp to competency and progression toward reaching OSP2 level.

Responsibilities
  • Demonstrates expert knowledge of Optimum products, promoting and selling offerings to individual customers.
  • Displays recent competitive knowledge of features, benefits, product differences, pricing, and campaigns for all products and services.
  • Drives sales and builds strong customer relationships and mentors and coaches frontline sales to help them achieve their potential.
  • Meets and exceeds sales targets set by local market.
  • Exhibits strong interest in leading and developing others.
  • Provides onboarding support to new hires, observes, and provides feedback to ensure they are on‑track with their training and provide an exceptional customer experience.
  • Monitors sales performance metrics, generates reports to assess progress, and identifies areas for improvement.
  • Takes an active role in personal and professional development.
Qualifications
  • High degree of self‑motivation and maintains a professional appearance.
  • Exercises independent judgment and discretion with respect to significant matters without direct oversight.
  • Possesses expert knowledge of B2C selling, reflective of 2-3 years of experience.
  • High confidence in selling ability.
  • Displays expert time‑management and organizational skills.
  • Meets the physical requirements of the job, including walking and/or traveling door‑to‑door in all weather.
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license in good standing within the state of residence.
