Title: Therapist, Behavioral Health
Responsible to: Clinical Supervisor
Work area: Outpatient office
PATH Behavioral Health is expanding, aiming to redefine the mental health care experience with zero barrier access. We seek a Behavioral Health Therapist to join a collaborative care team working with nurses, nurse practitioners, case managers, and other therapists in a one-stop agency across Ohio. Help reshape the landscape of mental health services by delivering compassionate, high-quality care to historically underserved populations.
Key Responsibilities- Provide clinical counseling, diagnostic interviews, assessments, and develop and deliver treatment plans for children, adolescents, and adults.
- Provide evidence-based individual, group, and family therapy in a supportive, stigma-free environment.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary care team to develop customized treatment plans and ensure holistic client care.
- Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices and trends in mental health care.
- Promote mental health awareness and equitable access to care within the community.
- Education: Master’s degree in Social Work or Clinical Counseling from an accredited university. A Bachelor’s degree in Social Work is acceptable if the candidate holds a valid LSW license.
- Licensure: LSW, LISW, LMFT, ILMFT, LPC, or LPCC.
- Experience/Skills: Minimum 1 year of clinical experience, including at least 1 year in an outpatient setting.
- Physical Effort: Ability to work under stressful conditions and irregular hours. Extended sitting, computer use, and keyboarding.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication, professional telephone and written client interactions; strong grammar and clarity.
- Essential Technical/Motor Skills: Competency in Electronic Health Record (EHR), telemedicine, and related software; fine dexterity for tasks.
- Background: Pass federal and state background checks; educational and work history verified in accordance with policy.
