Travel RN - ICU

American Traveler is hiring an ICU RN for a high-acuity step-down unit requiring OH or compact RN license and ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications.

• Active OH or compact RN license required
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS
• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• ECG exam required on first day of assignment

• Acute care ICU unit with 6 private beds functioning as a high acuity step-down, low acuity ICU
• Serves as the hospital's current COVID unit
• Patient ratios of 1 to 2
• Common diagnoses include sepsis, COPD, DKA, overdose, renal issues, surgical cases, and respiratory issues
• Uses Tru Bridge - Evident (CPSI-Evident) EMR system
• Day shift schedule, 3x12-hour shifts from 7am-7pm
• Every other weekend required
• Floating required to Telemetry/Med Surg unit
• One shift of floor orientation provided
• Travelers typically do not work holidays, depending on schedule and permanent staff availability
• Scrub color requirement:
  Royal Blue
• N95 masks provided and used for 24 hours before replacement
