American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Telemetry position requiring OH or compact licensure and strip interpretation skills.
Details- Acute care setting on a 24-bed Medical-Surgical Telemetry unit
- Patient ratio of 1:5, up to 1:6 during high census
- Day shift schedule with three 12-hour shifts per week
- Requires every other weekend work
- Requires every other holiday coverage
- Uses Tru Bridge
- Evident EMR charting system
- Active OH or compact RN license required
- Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
- Current certifications required: ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS
- Must be able to read and interpret telemetry strips, verified via in-person test on first day
- Provide direct patient care on a busy Medical-Surgical Telemetry floor
- First-day competency test required to assess telemetry strip interpretation skills
