Goodwill Easterseals Miami Valley invites applications for a Sales Clerk to perform retail sales functions at our Greenville store, including accepting merchandise donations and managing sales of donated goods.

• Provide customer service in a friendly and professional manner, greeting and assisting customers in the store and over the phone.
• Operate the cash register accurately and efficiently, handling receipts, checks, discounts, and change.
• Sort, price, and prepare donated textiles, furniture, appliances, and other goods for resale.
• Inspect merchandise for saleability, test small appliances, and ensure Goodwill quality control standards.
• Maintain store displays and shelving, stocking shelves and hanging garments.
• Load and unload trailers, perform shipping and receiving duties, and perform general housekeeping tasks.
• Prepare daily business statements, donation counts, reading reports, and deposit cash drawer reports.
• Adhere to safety and housekeeping practices, following Goodwill dress code and professional image.
• Perform any additional duties as assigned by manager or supervisor.

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Retail sales, cashiering, and customer service experience preferred.
• Shipping & receiving or box truck experience a plus.

• Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds regularly.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Detail oriented, organized, and able to work independently.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule to meet store needs.
• Must pass a criminal background check and random drug screen.

Regular standing, walking, use of hands to pick, handle, and reach; occasional climbing, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, and taste or smell. Must lift and move 10–25 pounds regularly, occasionally 50 pounds.

Occasional work in outdoor weather conditions and exposure to electrical shock risk. Moderate noise level.
