Role Overview
Senior Audit Associate – contract (1099) full‑time position supporting audit engagements for a regional CPA firm. Engagements take place in Atlanta, GA or Greenville, SC, from early January through May 1, 2026.
Salary range: $55,000.00 – $65,000.00.
Candidate Qualifications- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
- CPA or CPA‑eligible preferred
- Minimum 3 years of recent public accounting audit experience
- Proficiency in CCH Engagement required
- Strong technical knowledge of GAAP and audit methodologies
- Lead and execute audit fieldwork for multiple engagements
- Review work papers prepared by staff and ensure accuracy and completeness
- Identify and resolve accounting and auditing issues
- Communicate effectively with clients and engagement teams
- Ensure all audit documentation meets professional standards and deadlines
