Your RoleAs an Automotive Technician / Mechanic, you will play a vital role in our team. Your expertise will help us maintain our high standards and ensure customer satisfaction. Here’s what you’ll be doing:
- Diagnosing and fixing vehicles using your knowledge and skills.
- Building experience across a diverse range of domestic and foreign vehicles.
- Conducting thorough and honest courtesy vehicle inspections.
- Collaborating with your team to troubleshoot customer concerns efficiently.
- Promoting our commitment to safety, cleanliness, and organization.
- Communicating effectively with the service department regarding customer needs.
- Working together with fellow technicians to solve problems and meet deadlines.
If you’re ready to take your career to the next level, here’s what you need:
- A positive attitude and a genuine desire to serve customers.
- 3+ years of experience as an automotive technician/mechanic.
- ASE Certifications preferred, or a plan to achieve them.
- Ability to diagnose and repair all makes and models of vehicles.
- A track record of meeting or exceeding hourly goals.
- Aptitude for learning new skills and processes.
- Professional appearance and strong communication skills.
- A desire for long-term career development.
We want you to be prepared for the physical demands of the job:
- Ability to occasionally lift and/or move over 100 pounds.
- Comfortable working with tools on vehicles lifted above your head.
- Ability to work in tight spaces as needed for repairs.
- Dexterity to efficiently use hand tools.
- Willingness to walk or stand for the majority of your workday.
- Capability to drive manual transmission vehicles.
- Proficiency in navigating a computer.
